Frank H. Elmer is the principal of Frank Elmer Investment Strategies LLC, and a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). He holds a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) Series 7 General Securities License and Series 66 Uniform Securities License.

Frank has been in the financial services business since 1973 and has held positions with increasing responsibilities during his banking career before leaving Bank of America as Vice President and Retirement Specialist in 1994.

Focusing on investment management and financial planning, Frank specializes in providing a broad array of investment vehicles to serve his clients' needs. For the fifteen years prior to establishing FEIS in 2010, Frank provided investment advisory services to individuals and institutions through StanCorp Investment Advisors.

While Frank’s clients certainly value his experience and understanding of complex financial issues, they consistently convey that his ability to understand their personal goals and objectives is what they have come to value most about their partnership with him.

This unique ability to mesh knowledge and experience with interpersonal and communication skills is what sets Frank apart from his peers. He believes strongly in the motto, “They don’t care what you know until they know that you care.”

Frank and his wife Shari, who has taught in the local school district for over 30 years, live with their two daughters in Los Altos. Frank has coached AYSO soccer and YMCA basketball teams as well as working backstage in his daughters’ theater productions at Peninsula Youth Theater. Frank and Shari are active members of their church and community and love foreign travel.
